My Story
My wife, Debbie Lewis, passed away on 6 April 2025 at the age of 57. Debbie is a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother. Her devotion to family and friends and her ability to enjoy life have left an enormous hole in the lives of those who love her. Debbie was ill for a year. She saw different GPs multiple times during that period. Eventually, a trip to A&E in December 2024 led to a cancer diagnosis. It then took several months more of tests to discover she had bowel cancer that had already spread to her liver and lungs. By the time the cause of her illness was discovered, it was too late. A light has gone out in the world. Earlier diagnosis might have led to a different outcome. Please help Cancer Research fund training and research into earlier diagnosis of cancer in the hope that lives might be saved. Thank you for visiting my Donate in Memory page.
