Hull Pretty Muddy 5k 2018
Many of you will know that last year, on Wednesday 23rd August, I was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of Inflammatory Breast Cancer. To say it was a shock is an understatement, but the reality is that 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Following the gruelling process of chemotherapy and surgery, that so many will be all too familiar with, I was lucky enough to be given the all clear on Monday 19th March 2018. How amazing this is has not been lost on myself or my family and that is why I, and my daughter Rachael, have decided to take part in the Race for Life - so those affected by this awful disease can also receive the news that they have so desperately been fighting for. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor us now, and help us beat cancer sooner.
