My Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my fundraising page. I have been training hard with my walking partner, Sue Harris, for this 26-mile night walk around London which takes place on 23rd September 2017 - it's a big step up from Merry's daily walk in the woods but I'm excited to achieve my goal. Everyone knows someone who has been directly or indirectly affected by cancer. I lost my gorgeous husband, Jon in 2016 and this is why I’m fundraising for Cancer Research UK. Developing better treatments
From testing new therapies to finding better ways of using existing therapies, our clinical trials have helped improve cancer treatment. But these treatments don’t work for everyone and can have short- and long-term side effects. With your support, we can find kinder, more effective treatments so that people can live longer, better lives.
