Dawn's Race for Life
Bridgend 5k 2019
Sun 2 Jun 2019 - Sun 2 Jun 2019
I'm taking part in Race for Life because I am determined to embrace being 60 in memory of loved ones who would have loved to be that age
In memory of
Julie Clements
last year my sister-in-law was diagnosed with renal cancer and died only 5 weeks later. She was the same age as me and her death came as a huge shock. As I move towards my 60th birthday I am determined to embrace being 60 because she would have given anything to reach that milestone. So in her memory I am trying my best to be ready to run the Race for Life and at the same time raise some money for Cancer Research to reduce the numbers effected by this disease. I am overweight and unfit but hope that working through Couch to 5k will help me over the finishing line
