In memory of
My Mam Barbara
26th Aug 1943 - 7th May 2003
Back in January I decided it was time to get moving & started getting fit not fat! Now for those of you that know me well probably thought it was just a flash in the pan... ( me included) but actually the more I got into it the more I found I kind of enjoyed it & it really helped me physically & mentally. ( still a long way to go physically ☺️) So after my 1st weeks training my Daughter & I decided it was a good idea to enter our first ever race for life. As it was the perfect motivation I needed! After being off track after our family holiday in February I’m now back on it & more determined than ever that we’re going to do this in memory of my Mam - Barbara, who sadly lost her battle to stomach cancer at the age of 59. Also My brother Derek & my dear Uncle & Karl’s Aunt who are battling Cancer right now, & dear friends who have recently lost their loved ones. Please help myself and Shaylie reach our target for this great cause, whatever donation you could spare we would be very grateful! Thank you / Diolch yn fawr 😘 Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now.
