Dave's Walk 100 Miles Challenge Giving Page

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. This June, I’m walking 100 miles in the month to help beat cancer. 1 in 2 of us will get cancer in our lifetime. We can all play our part to support the research that will beat it. Help fund life-saving research by making a donation to my page. Some of you may be aware that I was diagnosed with bladder cancer in January 2020 just when the pandemic was about to hit the UK I had a planned bladder removal which sadly got cancelled and was offered the alternative chemo/radiotherapy for twenty days solid following the three months of chemotherapy I already had. I am still having issues with the bladder today due to radiotherapy therapy damage and many operations to keep me going and waiting for more biopsy results in the next couple of weeks and hoping the results are positive I have to say that I have been well looked after all the way through my treatment over the last couple of years and expect more treatment to come to keep the Cancer at bay in the coming years and this is where I am stepping up to give a little back and raise some much needed funds towards Cancer research so please if you can donate to this and help fund and continue to support cancer research that would absolutely fabulous I am also doing this in memory of my father in law, soul mate and my best friend Tom who we lost a while back now to a long battle with Cancer and to anyone that has been lost to Cancer and fighting Cancer today.
