My Story
I have known Charlie for the best part of forty years and my wife, Jackie, and I have shared many great times over the years with him, his late wife, Sandra, and our respective families. Charlie has been battling cancer for 2 years now and has been receiving fantastic treatment at The Christie in Manchester throughout that period. In that time I have been walking Charlie's chocolate labrador, Beau, a few times a week to keep her and me fit. It seemed, therefore, an ideal opportunity for me and Beau to sign up to the 'Stand Up To Cancer Walkies Challenge' to raise some funds for this great charity. Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. I’m setting out to walk at least 150 miles in April as part of the Challenge.
