My Story
I am running to raise as much money as I can in the Race for Life 10km in Southampton on the 22nd July to fund Cancer Research UK. Cancer Research UK saves lives and makes future cures possible.Cancer is happening right now and has effected personal friends and family which is why I'm taking part as an active fund raiser.1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
