My Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my fundraising page. We always think cancer affects other families and not us, yet i found out that cancer can affect my family too. It sucks, it really does, yet i also found out that we dont have to let it win. We can overcome it and come out the other side victorious!! We have an amazing NHS that provides brilliant care, but they need the tools to fight this horrible disease. This is why I’m fundraising for Cancer Research UK. If we can fund research that lead to developing the tools to find treatments, and yes cures too, then we will save thousands of lives, as well as the awful heartache a diagnosis brings. I am unashamedly asking you to join with me in that endeavour. It could be your donation funds the very research that finds the cure!! Whatever you can give, i truly appreciate it, it will all go (100%) to Cancer Research UK. What greater gift could you give than the gift of life? Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

CAUSE

Breast cancer

With almost 140 women diagnosed every day, breast cancer is the most common cancer in the UK. And, although rarer, around 350 men are also diagnosed with breast cancer every year. The good news is more than two-thirds of women now survive 20 years or more. Help Cancer Research UK find new ways to diagnose and treat the disease.
