My Story
We’re a group of passionate Cancer Research UK supporters but, due to COVID-19, our fundraising has been on pause recently. However, our support is needed now more than ever. The charity is predicting a drop of around 25% in fundraising income and they’ve had to make the really difficult decision to cut some of their research funding. They said recently that there are over 2 million people now waiting for cancer screening, tests and treatments because of the COVID-19 situation. Beating cancer remains their priority – COVID-19 has slowed them down, but they won’t stop. And neither will we. That’s why we wanted to show our support through our Heads On To Cancer challenge. Together we will still beat cancer.

All Cancer Types
Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
