My Story
Unfortunately almost every person I know has been affected by cancer in way shape or form. Whether it is through a direct family member, a family member of a friend, or someone you work with. A few years ago my mum was diagnosed with cervical cancer, and her life was turned upside down from then on. As part of her treatment she had to undergo a radical hysterectomy, and a course of chemo and radio therapy. This treatment is unbelievably invasive and downright scary. My mum's life won't ever be the same as it was, but unfortunately these things have to happen. Every single day I see the effects that this treatment has had on my mum and it's not nice. But the fact of the matter is, I can still see my my mum every single day due to this treatment, and that is the best thing in the world. Please help me raise and hopefully smash my £500 target in order to help the amazing progress that is being done in researching cancers and the available treatments. If even half of the people I know on my social media accounts can donate £5 then my target will be achieved in no time! Donating through this page is simple, fast and totally secure.
