My Story
Hello, although my family has been affected by cancer in the past, I’m not taking part in this activity for any specific people, other than to hopefully raise some money and to have a challenge for the month. This is a disease that can affect anyone of any age and the impact of Coronavirus has affected the charities ability to raise money. So I have decided to take part in the challenge to raise some money which, hopefully will help in any small way that it can. I appreciate that over the last 6 months there has been plenty of requests for sponsorship, but I would really appreciate it if you could spare me some of your money to help towards my target of £300. Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
