To walk the coast to coast and raise vital funds for Cancer Research UK
I want to help my local committee to raise funds for vital research. The Crewe and Nantwich Cancer Research UK Committee are raising money and awareness to beat cancer sooner. The group is celebrating their 70th year of fundraising and continue to organise a full calendar of events throughout the year. I'm really looking forward to the challenge and have enjoyed my training which has recently included a 13 mile walk around the Llyn Peninsula. I would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who has kindly donated so far. I have been astonished by your generosity and because of you, I have raised double my target before I have even started the challenge.

Cancer survival rates have doubled over the past 40 years. Consistent progress is being made but improvements to technology and ground-breaking work offer new opportunities to find different ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer and improve survival rates even further.
