My Story
I’m a 72 year old retired farmer with the help of my daughter Racheal Birley we will be walking the whole way across Dorset. Starting at the most Southerly point of Dorset, Portland Bill and finishing at the most northerly point, Bourton Village. We will begin our walk on the 13th of September and aim to finish on the 16th of September, covering approximately 50 miles. This is all in aid of raising as much money as possible for cancer research. Weve probably all been affected by cancer in one way or another, so we just wanted to do our bit and help where we can by raising as much money as possible, £2000 is our target. Any donations would be gratefully received. We can’t do this without support from the rest of the family. My wife Jackie will be joining us throughout as much of this journey as she can, alongside out other daughter Hayley and her 3 children, Lily age 10, Evie age 9 and Jack age 6. Please support them as much as you can, thank you. Lastly but not least my son Harry who will be supporting whilst being 100 percent committed to his dairy farm. He will be providing us bed and breakfast on route, as we will be passing very closely to his farm.
