Hi, some of you may know that my dad, John Hoult, died of cancer. It's 10 years this year on the 7 July. The same day as the race for life I am do the race to mark this. To remember him. Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Our work has helped double cancer survival in the UK in the last 50 years. Despite this incredible progress, there’s more to be done. Nearly 1 in 2 of us will get cancer in our lifetime.
