When Mark was diagnosed I just wanted to do something to help so I'm taking on the Pretty Muddy run. Mark is much more to me than just my stepdad and this is my way of showing him how much he is loved
My Story
We all hear the statistic that 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime but it’s only when someone you care about is diagnosed that you can truly understand how awful it is for the whole family when you hear them say it’s cancer. Mark’s diagnosis was a huge shock and everything has happened so quickly and this is my way of reminding him that he is loved and life is worth fighting for. I want him back home so we can all be together again and he can go back to being his funny, annoying self.
