I’m raising money in support of my dad and uncle to fund cancer research projects
I’m raising money for Cancer Research UK in support of my dad (Tim) and uncle Pete, both of whom are living with non-curable forms of cancer. I've seen first hand how important clinical trials are and how they can bring immediate and positive change to treatments. Many cancer patients (including my dad and uncle) want to join clinical trials, both in the hope of helping themselves and in the hope of helping others. Consistent progress is being made but improvements to technology and ground-breaking work offer new opportunities to find different ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer and improve survival rates even further.
