100 Push Ups a Day For a Month
Sun, 31 Mar 2024 - Mon, 29 Apr 2024
My Story
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. I’m doing 100 push-ups a day throughout April to raise money for Cancer Research UK. I completed this tough fundraiser challenge once before, back in November 2022, and sadly since then we have lost my Father-in-law Michael to cancer, my Dad Peter has had a roller coaster ride with bowel cancer (but going strong again & on the golf course !), my Mum Marian continues to battle Myeloma inspirationally (I'm talking 10+ holes of golf a couple of times a week, tennis, fit-steps, as well as everything else life requires to be done !). We all know, or are related to, someone who is battling cancer. Neither of my parents would be here today without the relentless efforts of Cancer Research to find new treatments that save lives. It is therefore a no-brainer (for me at least!) to crack on and get fundraising again, as the research money pot does not fill itself ! Please give what you can, it is so important, you will be saving lives and not least it will help me through this tough, 30 day regime of 100 push ups a day. THANK YOU.
