My Story
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. If you know me, you know my why but if not, here we go. In 2016, my mum fell ill, what eventually transpired as being cancer of the bile duct, which led to a life changing operation only possible thanks to the amazing staff in Leeds. Then in 2019, on her birthday, my mum fell ill once more. This time, she was diagnosed with an untreatable brain tumour. It changed my family’s lives forever. This is me doing my bit, once again, to combat cancer. This August, I will aim to do 310+ pull ups in the month and log my amount on my Instagram stories and an end of week summary.

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
