My Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. My name is Danny and I am 13 years old and this March I’m walking 10,000 steps a day throughout the month with my friend tom (link to his page here: https://fundraise.cancerresearchuk.org/page/toms-walk-all-over-cancer-fundraising-march-2021) to raise money to fight cancer. My dad has been living with cancer for over 10 years and I want to do my bit to fund research that can save the lives of people who are suffering long term from cancer. Please donate as much as you feel like. My goal is to raise at least £5000.

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
