Both Dani and Jenny are running in memory of lost family members and to support family and friends!!
Dani- I am running the race for life in my mother’s memory who sadly couldn’t fight cancer any longer and lost her life, but also for my sister who at 26 got diagnosed, then again at 27, and today has the all clear and is happy and healthy. The difference between my mum and my sister is how far the research has come along in 12 years! The need to keep researching, learning and progressing the treatment is essential so together we can minimise the number of losses from this dreadful disease.. Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
