Big Hike Peak District - Full Marathon 2026

My Story
This year Rebecca and I are taking part in the Cancer Research Big Hike in the Peak District, and have signed up for the 26 mile hike on the 13th of June. We all know someone who's had cancer and is either currently fighting or has lost their fight, but together we can try to do everything we can to increase everyones chances. Rebecca and I lost her mum in 2017 to breast cancer, my step dad Craig is battling myeloma and other family members whose battles are also ongoing. I appreciate times are tough and money is tight for everyone, but any penny that can be spared is greatly appreciated and will go towards a great cause and help the fight against cancer for now, as well as for the generations to come.

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
