My Dad Frank Gault
As some of you know I sadly lost my dad in March 2020 after a short but tough battle with lung cancer after being diagnosed in November 2019. He made such a big impact on many peoples lives and will be truly missed by everyone. In his memory I will be taking part in The Shine Night Walk and walking half a marathon to raise money for the research of lung cancer. By my side I will the rest of Franks team including my sister Siobhan and friends Lib and Hayley. Lung cancer is the biggest cancer killer in the UK. Each year more than 43,500 people are diagnosed with lung cancer, and the disease claims almost 35,200 lives. Each year Cancer Research UK’s scientists get closer to beating cancer, and they’ve helped double survival rates in the last 40 years. But we can’t stop there. Only with our continued support can they turn this research into breakthroughs that save millions of lives.
