My Story
HELLOO & thank you for visiting my fundraising page. I’m Dan, co-founder of Stratum Marquetry, a small Cornish woodworking business located in Nancegollan (near Helston). I have decided to take on the challenge, set by Cancer Research, to cycle at least 300 Miles this July to help raise money for Cancer Research UK. Although the bike is my chosen mode of transport for my commute, there are a few factors that won't make this easy: 1. The 10 mile round trip commute won't quite get me to the 300... 2. I take my dog, Moss, to work with me and have to do so using a trailer... 3. And I'm actually away for a week towards the end of July... Looks like I'll be doing some top up rides! All Cancer Types
Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
