The heart break this disease brings!
My Story
For many years I have taken part in the Race for Life because cancer is such an indiscriminate disease attacking everyone from new born babies to the elderly. This year a group of us are undertaking the 10k challenge to show support for a very dear friend - we want a cure to be found so she and so many others do not have to face not only the disease but also the heartbreak that it brings with it. Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
