My Story
I’ve set myself a challenging target for the month which will push me out of my comfort zone. With your help, I will achieve it – one day at a time. I am fundraising for Cancer Research to continue their work towards finding a cure. As you know my mum passed away 6 years ago from Pancreatic Cancer at the age of 57. Far too soon to be taken from this world. There are also people in my life now affected by this horrible disease too soon in life. Any funds raised will go towards a great cause to help other families hopefully avoid this harrowing time. "Nothing lasts forever, so live it up, drink it down, laugh it off, avoid the drama. Take chances and never have regrets because at one point everything you did was exactly what you wanted"

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
