My Story
After a year where vital cancer trials have been delayed, the Race for Life is more important than ever. So I’m digging out my running shoes and joining a Very 2020 Race for Life. Cancer has most likely touched all our lives, in one way or another. This year, it will be a whole decade since we lost the fabulous Catherine Brindley - Auntie Catherine, I’m running for you ❤️. Every pound you can donate will go towards Cancer Research UK’s ground-breaking work, so please give what you can 💓 We won’t let 2020 stop us.

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
