My Story
Just over a year ago, my dad was diagnosed with a brain tumour. He received excellent care and treatment with the tumour being successfully removed and further Gamma and immunotherapy. Sadly though Dad died unexpectedly on the 30th April of this year from complications created by the Cancer. My family and I are taking part in this event in order to raise money for an amazing cause and to keep my Father's memory alive. This research saves lives and gives people extra time with loved ones, it was thanks to this research that we as a family had a few more precious months with Dad. The Night Walk is taking place on the eve on what would have been Dad's 60th Birthday. We are not having a party to celebrate the event but instead I am donating money I would have put behind the bar (or at least some of it!) to Cancer Research. If you would like to do the same please click the donate button, I and my family would be so grateful. Thank you.

CAUSE
Brain cancer
Each year in the UK, more than 9,400 people are diagnosed with tumours that start in the brain or elsewhere in the central nervous system. With more than 100 different types of brain tumour, donations can help Cancer Research UK find out what causes them and develop better treatments to improve the outlook for patients.
