The Great Golf Challenge

Sat 31 Aug 2019 - Sun 1 Sep 2019

My Story

Thanks for visiting our fundraising page. This Summer, I'll be part of the team (The Bogey Bunch) taking on 72 holes of golf (4 rounds) in one day to raise money for Cancer Research UK. Help me fund life-saving research by sponsoring me and together we will beat cancer. Henry, myself and both of our families have been massively effected by this horrible disease and we would love it if we could raise plenty of money to help find a cure. We will be completing the first part of this challenge at Caldy Golf club teeing off at 5.30am on 15th August 2019. We will then make the short trip along the Wirral coast to complete the final two rounds at Royal Liverpool Golf Club. We anticipate the challenge taking upwards of 15 hours and we will cover up to 25 miles walking (dependent on how many fairways we hit). We will also be taking challenges for amount of bogeys, birdies and eagles we make (don’t worry too much about the latter). Please dig deep and donate any amount you can. CAUSE

All Cancer Types

Our work has helped double cancer survival in the UK in the last 50 years. Despite this incredible progress, there’s more to be done. Nearly 1 in 2 of us will get cancer in our lifetime. Help us carry out world-class research into the prevention, detection and treatment of more than 200 types of cancer.
