My Story
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. This September, I'll be taking on 72 holes of golf (4 rounds) in one day to raise money for Cancer Research UK. Like most - unfortunately my life and the lives of those I love have been blighted by this awful disease and whilst I have lost my Father in Law and my Dad amongst others, seeing my Mother in Law fighting and beating Cancer twice has proven to me that with research we will eventually beat this awful disease for good! As the Great North Run is reducing its capacity this year, I am taking to the golf course instead to play 72 holes in one day! Help me fund life-saving research by sponsoring me and together we will beat cancer.

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
