My Story
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. Cancer Research UK is important to so many people for many different reasons, mine is for my mum. For a 2nd time she has been diagnosed with breast cancer. The first time she was diagnosed, I was a teenager, not having as much understanding as I do now at 32. Watching my mum battle this horrific toxic disease is tough. Tough on me, my family and more than us, her. She is an absolute warrior. Even through this, asking the questions of why me? Why again? She still, is always optimistic and strong. I admire my mum and love her, as we all do, through and through. She speaks so highly of the care and support she has received both times from health staff and other organisations/charities through this horrible journey, and we can't thank them enough. I’m going to walk 100 miles in October to help raise money for Cancer Research UK. Please show your support and help fund life-saving research by donating to my page. My mum battled Cancer before and she is again. Cancer Research UK has helped to save her life and I'd like to help towards saving others too. I know cost of living has impacted on many people, any donation is so welcomed and I am so grateful for this. Thank you Courtney x
