My Story
Well what can I say, the last three years has been one hell of an emotional roller coaster from the time I got told that the BRCA 1 gene was in the family and advised to get tested to being tested positive. Various test, mammograms, biopsy’s, and 3 operations later, one which I can say was a game changer, had I not had the double mastectomy it would not have picked up the pre cancer cells going on in my breast, which would of developed into more. I am now officially off that roller coaster that has been hospital life and now want to put something back into raising funds. I have had so much support from the NHS and escpecially Exeter hospital, the force cancer charity centre at the hospital to friends and family and now its time for me to put something back into the research, technology and to help others kick cancers ass and save lives!! Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life Pretty Muddy to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
