I'm racing to celebrate the lives of those we've lost, and in support all the AMAZING survivors!
My Story
It's a short distance but a long journey. In tribute to many loved ones who have bravely lost the battle, and in awe of those fighting with all their might...you're all phenomenal! This year is more poignant for me as I've dealt with a skin cancer diagnosis and surgery. Thankfully, it's all gone now, and the outcome is very positive, but I have to admit that it sent me to a 'dark place'. For this reason, my respect and admiration for dear friends – who smile and laugh and get on with life whilst beating cancer – has been elevated to new heights.
