Cordelia's Race for Life
Basingstoke 5k 2018

I did my very first Race For Life in 2009 after 18 months of breast cancer treatment including surgery. It was a moment of celebration and gratitude: a celebration of being alive and gratitude to the many people who walked the cancer journey with me and made my treatment possible. Cancer treatment doesn't happen by luck. It takes sweat, research, tears, total dedication. And money. Lots of money. I will never know all the wonderful people who came before me, making my cancer treatment possible, but I do know one thing: every pound, every single penny can save someone.
