My Story
Cancer is a horrible disease that touches everyone's life. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Last year my uncle Mark was diagnosed with bowel cancer. He was one of the lucky few who was able to have his cancer removed and has now started chemo to ensure it doesn't come back. This isn't the case for most and people die everyday from the disease. I'm running the Race for Life 10k to help raise money to go towards finding a cure for this horrible disease.
