The Cooke-Minto Mega Cycle - 1407km!! (mainly at home)

We've set ourselves a major family cycle challenge.......we're taking part in 'Race for Life at Home' to help beat cancer.
Every year we usually take part in Race for Life, joining lots of others to run or walk 5km and raise money for cancer research. Due to Covid-19 there are no Race for Life events this summer so we have decided to set ourselves a different challenge. As a family we have decided to cycle the 1407km distance that is Lands End to John O'Groats. We are doing this with regular family bike rides where we then add up our mileage and we are also all working hard on our exercise bike to add distance. There's a tracking chart on the wall (obvs) and we're hoping to do the 1407km in under 4 weeks. Fingers crossed. Why did we choose cancer research? Though life may seem to be on hold at the moment, there is one thing that hasn’t stopped and that’s cancer.
