Unfortunately we all come into contact with people who have lost love ones to Cancer . This great charity day gives us all a chance to raise some funds well having a bit of fun at work or home . Once again this year we will be running a competition for the most unusual football top .So on Friday 19 November, please don your favourite football shirts, share a selfie on social media using #footballshirtfriday send us your phots and fund raising antics and most importantly please donate to the Bobby Moore Fund. 100% of the money raised will go towards funding pioneering bowel cancer research.
CAUSE
Bobby Moore Fund
Bobby Moore was just 51 years old when he died. Shortly after his death in 1993, Bobby’s widow Stephanie Moore OBE set up the Bobby Moore Fund to raise money for pioneering bowel cancer research. Since the fund was set up , bowel cancer mortality rates have fallen by over 30%. However, with 46 people losing their life to the disease every day in the UK, we still have a long way to go.
