My Story
So many people and families are affected by Cancer. I'm doing the Race For Life so I can help make a small difference. My mum passed away from stomach cancer last year. It was the worse year of our lives. There was no reason she had it She was one of the unlucky ones. She endured every treatment and procedure they tried and her memory lives on with us. Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour.
