I'm taking part in Race for Life to raise money and to show there is life after cancer
my journey started in 2010 when I was diagnosed with melanoma skin cancer as a result of hormone changes in pregnancy that was scary enough! Then in 2016 I heard the news again but this time breast cancer which needed chemotherapy, surgery and radiotherapy! In 2017 had a year free of cancer but not it’s side effects! 2018 when I had just started a new job after removing stress from my life and getting back to a new normal I was diagnosed again but the opposite side and completely new cancer! Chemo surgery and radiotherapy round 2 I still consider myself lucky as many wonderful friends and ladies have lost their fight against this cruel disease! I take positives from it all the time - new friends, more knowledge and it has made me a stronger and formidable woman who is even more determined than ever to live life to the max Please donate not just for me but for everyone that is affected by cancer!
