Jo - a truly amazing friend who I miss everyday
I am running 5k in honour of the most amazing friend who lost her battle to Cancer in 2018. My friend always looked a million dollars and NEVER gave up. Those who know me will already know that I’m no runner but like my friend I Will keep going and I will finish even if it turns out to be more of a jog. If I can raise even a small amount to make a difference then I will have achieved something great and maybe one day it will prevent someone else having to say goodbye to their friend or family member many years too soon because of this cruel disease. 💜💕

Consistent progress is being made but improvements to technology and ground-breaking work offer new opportunities to find different ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer and improve survival rates even further.
