I was diagnosed with breast cancer in October 2017. It was an extremely worrying time for me as a single parent with 2 children wondering how on earth I would cope. The treatment is hard but my children, my partner and my amazing family and friends have given me the strength to deal with it and hopefully get through this a stronger and better person. I’m going to run this with my daughter with a new zest for life.
CAUSE
Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
