Cancer has taken so many people i love young and old. If like me you have ever seen someone you love fight it you really want to do what you can to stop it happening.
I was just 6 years old when my grandma died of cancer, she ment so much to so many and it was just devastating, even for a 6 year old. On 10th June My Mum, Myself and My daughter will be walking in her honour and for all the others we have lost. Especially My Daughter's amazing Grandfather, Martin who she never got to meet. A much respected and loved police officer who served 40 years in Surrey Police and contracted Mesothelioma from exposure to asbestos, My beloved best friend Gemma who is truly the most remarkable person i have ever known. She had cancer as a child and in her 20's and again in her 30's. She died at 33 a month after i fell pregnant with my daughter i am so glad i got to tell her i was pregnant but devastated she never got to meet her. Gemma inspired so many people to keep strong, to keep fighting and to not let cancer take your sparkle.
So in June 3 generations of my family will be honouring those we love and try to raise funds to help them put a stop to the pain and suffering. You can help us give 'Chaz' (Cancer) a massive kick up the bum for all those he has taken from us. I hope we can raise a good amount for this great cause.
