My Story
My dad was diagnosed with cancer of the oesophagus in August 2025 and has endured countless rounds of chemo and radiotherapy and suffered from sepsis, infections and internal bleeding. The care he has received has been amazing! My mum was diagnosed with breast cancer in April 2026 and has so far had two surgeries with more treatment in the future. Watching both parents go through a cancer diagnosis is not something I ever thought would happen to our family, but it did. But without the amazing research carried out by Cancer Research, my parents stories could be very different. Cancer is happening now.
