My Story
I’m shocked by the number of people being diagnosed with a form of cancer. It’s particularly become apparent to me during this past couple of years with 3 of my close friends going through their own individual battles. I walked the race for life with Chantelle’s ‘Bert’s Army’ last year & felt inspired by how many people were supporting the event. This year I’ve decided to challenge myself by running it with my niece Georgia. I’m determined to complete it in honour of the strength, courage & positivity each of my fiends have shown throughout their treatments. Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now.
