Isle of Man Parish Walk

Thank you for visiting my Fundraising Page. The money I raise will help fund life-saving research and to bring forward the day when all cancers are cured. On Saturday 22nd June, I am taking part in the Isle of Man’s ‘Manx Telecom Parish Walk’ for the second time. This is a unique endurance challenge where competitors have 24 hours to complete the 85 mile route which takes in all 17 of the island's Parishes. My aim this year is to reach Ballaugh, walking 42 miles and through 10 parishes. I have chosen to raise money for Cancer Research as cancer affects everyone in some way, whether they’ve been or are going through treatment, know someone who has, or have lost loved ones through the disease. I like to think that the money I raise, will help towards finding a cure for cancer one day.

Cancer survival rates have doubled over the past 40 years. Consistent progress is being made but improvements to technology and ground-breaking work offer new opportunities to find different ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer and improve survival rates even further. Help Cancer Research UK improve results even faster.
