I'm fundraising to raise money for Cancer Research UK. For all those who have fought, are fighting or know of someone battling or who have battled with cancer. Together we can put up a stronger fight.
In memory of
Grandma Madge
We have all unfortunately been affected either directly or indirectly by cancer. And this is my time to stand up to this heartbreaking disease. Literally stand up.... as tall, as high and as proud as I can on the wing of a Stearman BiPlane aerobatic aircraft, as this September I will be wing walking at Rendcomb airfield, Gloucestershire. **This is for my Grandma. A thoughtful, kind, immensely generous, courageous, loving, funny, caring lady who was taken from my Mum at the tender age of 49. Fortunately, she passed all her qualities down to my Mum, building her into one of the strongest and most courageous women I have ever known and I couldn’t be more proud of. Cancer took my Grandma from my Mum and also prevented me from ever meeting her. Although my Mum keeps her alive with stories and telling me of our similarities. I always think how amazing it is how much we can miss someone we’ve never met. **This is for my friends. Who I have travelled along side and been witness to their pain they endured, yet kept their strength, courage and dignity throughout their fight. For my Grandma. For my friends’ Dad. For my friends’ Mum. For my family and friends who have been affected. For those unfairly taken from us, but stay firmly within our memory. For those we miss so dearly. I want to do this in honour of all of you and your bravery. Thank you in advance to all of you who are able to take the time to sponsor me. ANY amount would be immensely appreciated. Thank you 🙏🏼
