My Story

Hi everyone, thank you for dropping by. Not sure what I've just let myself in for again but here goes 🙈😂. I have taken the plunge and entered my second 'big challenge' which will involve walking 26 miles, in London, through the night for an amazing cause. I personally do this walk in loving memory of my Grandad Terry who lost his fight with cancer in November 2008 aged just 73 after a year lobg battle. I would like to raise as much as I can so I've set up this page for those of you that would like to sponsor me, no matter how big or small, every little bit helps. We have all been affected by cancer in some way so let's beat cancer together! Let the training begin! Thanks for reading 🙂 cx Each year Cancer Research UK’s scientists get closer to beating cancer, and they’ve helped double survival rates in the last 40 years. But we can’t stop there. Only with our continued support can they turn this research into breakthroughs that save millions of lives. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now.

Our work has helped double cancer survival in the UK in the last 50 years. Despite this incredible progress, there’s more to be done. Nearly 1 in 2 of us will get cancer in our lifetime. Help us carry out world-class research into the prevention, detection and treatment of more than 200 types of cancer.
