My Story
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. I have decided to do “Dryathlon 2017” which means that I will be drinking no alcohol for the whole of January! There are many reasons why I am doing it, the selfish ones being that I am going to use this opportunity to help me get healthier, lose weight and also feel a lot happier about myself at the same time as saving my pennies whilst raising some! By far the most important reason and motivation is the fantastic cause in which it supports. Many of you know that my mum has survived cancer twice and if it wasn’t for the research that this charity has done and continues to do, who knows if the outcome may have been different, I can’t bear to think about that. You all know I like a drink(!) and this will be a challenge! I’d appreciate your support (both financially and mentally!) so if you could spare some pennies towards this cause I would greatly appreciate it. It doesn’t need to be much – even the cost of your favourite tipple will help me reach my target. Wish me luck and thank you!
