My Story
Like many families, ours has been, and continues to be, affected by Cancer. This March I’m walking 10,000 steps a day to raise money to fund life-saving research. 10,000 steps a day might not seem like much to some people but with no school run to do, working from home and having been in lock down, for the last few months I've been averaging less than 4,000 steps a day. Some days less than 3,000 which is not good. So it'll take some effort for me to do 10,000 steps (& hopefully even more!) every day in March. Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
