Claire's Walk All Over Cancer Fundraising Page
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. This March I’m walking 10,000 steps a day throughout the month to help beat cancer. Since signing up for this I’ve been given a very unexpected cancer diagnosis myself so I’ve been iffing and aming whether I can commit to doing this. It’s an even more personal challenge now as I will have surgery in the coming weeks, so I’ve decided to stick with it until I am admitted and then my good mate Nicky Brenton will take over the challenge for me. So lucky to have such brilliant friends and family supporting me. I am committed to helping CRUK find a cure for cancer as I lost my Mum following an 11 year battle in 2014. She helped me get the first Relay for Life off the ground in 2008 and was an inspiration to many. For her, for my friends I’ve lost, me, my family and friends who are currently suffering I have been persuaded to get off my ass, whose favorite place is the sofa and get walking with my new pup, Macy. I am also hoping to help fill the fundraising gap which has occurred as the annual Liskeard Art & Craft Exhibition cannot be held this year. Thank you so much for your support.
